Some Must-Do's at California

Edna Valley Vineyard
Summer its what most of us like to call the perfect time for vacations. Just chillin’ or traveling somewhere else to do something different from our daily routines. Few days ago, I had the opportunity of a road trip to Cali and obviously, I had to make some visits to San Diego, LA, and some other places like the beach.

There are many many, many, places where you could go, but this time I’ve a different suggestion. If you’re on your way to San Francisco, well, definitely you need to stop by San Luis Obispo.

A city with great landscapes and views, famous for their vineyards (You should stop at Edna Valley Vineyard: Great wine, perfect view, music and...yes, more wine) and their ecological culture.

Avila Pier

Farmers Market

It’s the perfect place for college students, it has one of the 10 best engineering universities, California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. Oh and if you’re there on a Thursday, go straight downtown and eat some of the best ribs in SLO with the energetic and amazing guys from McKlintock’s at the Farmers Market…Really, the waiting line is worth it.

At 15 minutes or less from SLO, you’ll get to visit the Avila Pier, a fancy and beautiful pier with some great restaurants and the best views from the beach. Near this beautiful city you’ll have the chance to go to Morro Bay, or Monterey (at 2 hours from SLO) Here you may do some kayaking or get in a boat to look at the sea otters, sea lions and even whales!

Monterey Bay Aquarium
At Monterey you need, yes…”need” to visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium. It has more than 1,08 million visitors a year. Though the important thing here is the amazing species they have in there, and the structure of the aquarium itself. It has been designed for everyone to enjoy it, no matter your age.

Around here you’ll look some very nice stores and restaurants where you’ll get to appreciate the weather and view. Oh!! Yes.. I almost forgot to tell you about the Fisherman’s Wharf, maybe that was one of my favorite places. At The Old Fisherman’s Grotto you must try the Clam Chowder served on a bread bowl. Won’t regret it! And after that you should take a walk and look at the sea otters or get on a boat to enjoy the sea.
Fisherman's Wharf

I’ll just make it short, other way, I could write and write and keep talking about how California has many places to visit and look around. Hopefully if you get to travel there. This recommendations from 20s Perspective will make your stay way better…
