Hey there!! It’s been a while, I know, but let’s just get to the
important stuff. Today I’ve got an excellent
recommendation for you to consider, in your next vacations or if you would like
to spend a great weekend and be part of some adventures with your friends or
family.
I had the opportunity of going to this… certain
place. I’m the type of person that looks for something different, not the
typical vacations or the same things. That’s one of the reasons that led me to
this place near the beach and to discover their ecological and recreational
activities… If you’ve got some place near you that has this activities, then do
not waste your time and go check it out.
Today’s recommendation it’s about kayaking.
At less than 10 km from the beach of San Carlos
in the state of Sonora, Mex. You’ll find this estuary that it is now a
protected area. [Área Protegida Estero El Soldado] One of the most
important estuaries** in Mexico. It’s a hidden Paradise.
This place has a huge variety of plants and
animals. It has the basic three activities so you can be a part of this
gorgeous environment. The estuary “El Soldado” ( The Soldier) is a place where
the main purpose it’s to create conscience about our surroundings, the nature and how we are the ones that should and can take care of it.
Some of the activities are kayaking,
cycling/mountain bike and hiking.
The people and team in charge of this place
were so nice, their attention to every person was excellent. They were willing
to give support in any activity. The guide from the kayak was very friendly and clear when he had to
explain how the tour was going to be, and how we should do this kayaking thing,
it was my first time so.. yes, he had to explain.
The mangrove was beautiful, as simple as that.
The estuary isn’t deep, the water is as clear as if you were looking through a
window pane. You could see every little animal, fish and crabs all the way
around. We were so lucky that we saw a family of dolphins not too far away.
I totally recommend this activity, for every
age. You can enjoy the view, and appreciate the vegetation that this place has.
Oh ! But you’ll have to consider the weather, it is better if you do this in
the morning, so you won’t suffer the heat because Sonora is known because of
its extreme sunlight.
It was an amazing experience, I will like to
thank their team and the tour guide for their attention. I missed the other
activities because of the tight schedule I had, but I’ll be back. Trust me when
I say, this is a place where one visit, one time, isn’t enough.
These are some of the pictures I took.
Remember to share, post, follow,.. anything.
This is for you, and I’ll looooove to know your opinion about it.
Have you ever go kayaking? Or where would you
like to do it, or do you prefer other activities??
**Estuary: An estuary is a body of water formed where freshwater from rivers and streams flows into the ocean, mixing with
the seawater.
